When I look back on my journey, one thing stands out—every step forward was made possible by the incredible women who believed in me.
When I first moved to Hong Kong, I arrived with big dreams but no roadmap. I was figuring things out, unsure of what lay ahead. Then, one woman took a chance on me, offering me an opportunity at a major retail chain. That moment changed everything.

It wasn’t just about the job—it was about feeling seen, valued, and supported. And she wasn’t the only one. Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to have incredible women as my strength—mentors, colleagues, and friends who lifted me up, challenged me, and reminded me of my own potential. That experience shaped me. It taught me the power of mentorship, the strength of community, and the responsibility we all have to lift others as we climb.

Years later, when I had the opportunity to take the reins of Active Communications from the dynamic MJ Jennings—who had founded and nurtured it—I knew I wanted to continue its incredible legacy. Our mission has always been about empowerment—helping leaders communicate with confidence, build trust, and inspire those around them. And at the heart of it all? The belief that when we support one another, we all rise.

So today, on International Women’s Day, I celebrate:
The women who opened doors for me when I needed it most.
The women who continue to challenge norms, break barriers, and lead with courage.
The women who are just beginning their journeys—because your potential is limitless.

To every woman out there: You are capable. You are resilient. You are not alone. Let’s keep showing up for each other, championing one another, and creating a world where leadership has no gender.
Who has lifted you in your journey? I’d love to hear your stories. Let’s celebrate them together.
